Play Expo Manchester 2017

The PSC crew will be heading to sunny Manchester to check out the Play Expo this Sunday.  We’ve been going to these since before PlayStation Country was even a thing, mainly due to the massive selection of retro consoles and old school coin op arcade titles.  The Expo gave us our first taste of PSVR just before that launched and has always been a good place to check out the latest PS4 games.

This year we’ll be attending on the Sunday because that happens to be Spectrum Sunday and they are devoting a big chunk of time to a panel featuring a number of veteran ZX Spectrum coders, something that excites us no end.  But of course we’ll also be checking out all things PlayStation while we are there.

PQube will be demonstrating a bunch of their current-gen titles including White Day, GUILTY GEAR Xrd REV 2 and UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Late[st], Ubisoft will be there and we’ll be expecting to see a bunch of other studios demoing their latest games there too.  So get involved while tickets are still available.

Rich is the editor of PlayStation Country. He likes his games lemony and low-budget with a lot of charm. This isn't his photo. That'll be Rik Mayall.
